Getting Started

Where do I log in?

You must download the poker client and install it. You can log in on the main client screen, once you run the client.

How can I get the password?

You have to register a new account on our website or by clicking Create Account on the main client screen.

I have a client installed and I received my password, where do I login?

To login into the poker client simply enter your username and password and click the login button in the lower right corner. You are ready to play!

I've lost my password!

You can reset your password manually by going to the main software screen, clicking on 'Login' and then on 'Forgot Password'. Enter your information and a new temporary password will be emailed to your registered AKPokerClub.com email address.

If you do so, and receive an error message, please email support with your full name and address, as well as your AKPokerClub.com UserID, and we will help you get your password back. Whenever possible, you should always email us using the email address which has been registered and validated on your AKPokerClub.com account. This allows us to access your account information and give you the most accurate response.

Browsing games

Using the game selection filters, you can limit the types of tables that will appear in the lobby. You can choose to sort tables by: ALL/LIMIT/POT LIMIT/NO LIMIT to participate on practice tables or a private game that may be in progress.

I love tournaments, are there the same options there?

You can also use the game selection filters to limit the sorts of tournaments that are displayed to you. You can select to see all tables, full table tournaments, short-handed tournaments, heads-up tournament, satellites and private tournaments.

Selecting a game

You can choose the kind of game you wish to play using the 6 main games in to the games menu: Texas Hold'em, 32 Card Draw, Americana, Omaha, 7 Stud Hold'em, BJ Stoppa

Joining a Table

You can join a game by double-clicking on the table and then sit down by clicking on any available seat. If the game is full you click the "join waiting list" button to join the waiting list for the selected table or the first available seat at the same stakes as the one selected. You may also choose to exclude tables with a minimum number of players. Your name will immediately get added to the end of the waiting list/s.

Account Security

How can I help keep my account secure?

Never reveal your AkPokerclub.com password to anyone! The only place you should ever type your password is when logging on to AkPokerclub.com . AkPokerclub.com will never ask you to send your password, and you never should send it to us or to anyone else. Password protection is your responsibility and leads to secure online poker management.

We can't emphasize this enough. Treat your AkPokerclub.com account like you treat your bank account - that's exactly how it should be. We will not refund any money, taken from the account. This means that if you leave your account logged in, or write the password down on a piece of paper next to your computer, or use an easy-to-guess password, you are putting your money at risk.

Here are some guidelines for staying out of password trouble:

• Don't write your password down where somebody can find it.
• Don't make your password something obvious that will be easy to guess. Don't use your name, your birth date, or any other simple phrase.
• Do change your password often.
• Don't stay logged in if others can access your computer.
• Don't use the "Remember Password" option in the login screen if others can access your computer. This is particular important in offices and college dorms.
• Don't fall prey to scams and hustles where others want to access your account. If an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

 

 

Multiple accounts

I would like to play under different names. Can I have more than one poker account?

No. Each player is only allowed to open one account. It is not permitted to close your account and open another one. Once you create an account, your User id cannot be changed, so please choose carefully.

Hand History

How do I request a hand history?

Click on the dealer tray and select 'Request hand history'. You can request up to your last 200 hands, your hand histories for a period of time, all the hands you played in a tournament, or any specific single hand. Note however that we do not archive play money or freeroll tournament hand histories, and as such, these hands are not available to be requested.

You can also request a hand history from the AkPokerclub.com lobby. From the 'Request' menu, choose 'Hand History'.

We also offer an 'Instant Hand History' (IHH) feature at all tables, which will allow you (even at play money tables and in freerolls) to review your most recent hands. To launch this feature, simply click on the hand numbers at the upper left of the table.

A window will open where you can see text versions of your hands. In the IHH, click the 'Options' button to set the Instant Hand History to save your hands to a file. You can also launch the IHH by clicking the Dealer Chip Tray or 'Options' button at the top of the table, and selecting 'Instant Hand History.'

You will find a 'Visualize' button in the IHH which you can use to replay a hand visually in a new window. You can also 'replay' the most recent hand by clicking the red button next to the hand numbers on the table.

Poker table is full

If a poker table is full, you can put your name on the Waiting List. When a seat in the game becomes available, the first person on the Waiting List will have the first right of refusal for that seat.

The other option you have is to take a seat at an empty table of that limit and game. Often, empty tables fill up quickly once a player takes a seat.

What is Rake? How much Rake does AK Poker Club charge?

AkPokerclub.com is an internet poker room, not a casino. That means you never play poker against the house, only against other players. AkPokerclub.com receives compensation by taking 'rake', a small amount from each ring game pot. This rake from the pot never exceeds € 7. General rule is, the smaller the games,the smaller the rake that is taken.

There is no rake in play money games. No 'per hand' rake is taken in tournaments; there is only an initial fee to enter. Some tournaments do not charge any fee to participate.

How much Rakeback can a player get?

AK Poker Club does not support any kind of Rakeback.

How do I know how much money is in the pot?

At any AkPokerclub.com table, the full amount of the pot, including all current bets, is always displayed numerically at the top of the table, above the dealer's tray or 'Options' button.

Also, at the end of every betting round, all bets are collected in the middle of the table, and converted into higher denomination chips so you can easily see the pot's total value.

First Deposit Bonus

What is FDB (First Deposit Bonus) ?

Fist Deposit Bonus is one of many incredible promotions that AKP offers to it's players to make their gaming experience even better. The FDB promotion is here to help new players boost their bankroll when starting playing on AKP. Current FDB promotion conditions are as follows:

1. This offer is only valid to depositing players making their FIRST deposit.

2. AKP will match the deposit amount up to €400

3. Players receive up to 400 PROMO BUCKS (PB's) on their account balance

4. Then Promo Bucks (PB's) are released to real money along as they earn AKP Comp Points (CP's) at ring games and tournaments.

5. At ring games, Comp Points are awarded to players for each hand in which they contribute money to the pot, as long as the hand is raked. Points are also awarded based on the fees paid by the player when buying-in to a tournament.

6. PB's are released to players according to the number of Points a player has earned:

7. Players balance is credited with the amount of bonus released twice monthly (1st and 15th).

What are PB's (Promo Bucks)?

The First Deposit Bonus amount is credited as 'Promo Bucks' in the players balance. Then 'Promo Bucks' get converted to real money in €10 slices and credited to the players real money balance twice monthly (1st and 15th). Just play at AKPokerClub.com and you'll pick up your bonuses as you go.

What are CP's and How do I earn them (Comp Points)?

When playing at AKP you also accumulate 'Comp Points' along the way, the more you play, the more points you get. At ring games, Comp Points are awarded to players for each hand in which they contribute money to the pot, as long as the hand is raked. Points are also awarded based on the fees paid by the player when buying-in to a tournament. You can use CP's for releasing bonuses or registration to tournaments, where players can register using comp points instead of real money.

Where can I see my CP's?

You can see how many CP's you earned either by going to "My Balance" or "My Profile" link in the "Cashier" menu in your software client. View screenshots in our software guide.

How does the releasing of First Deposit Bonus work?

It is very simple. While playing on real money tables and tournaments, you earn Comp Points. And as soon as you earn 415 CP's, a €10 slice of Promo Bucks that you received as your first deposit bonus is converted to real money and is credited to your account on the first settlement either 1st or 15th of the month. So all you need to do is play and let the bonus flow to your account.

What are TB's (Tourney Bucks)?

Tourney bucks are a promotional currency used for registration in various tournaments. You can receive TB only as a tournament prize, promotional bonus or coupons.

Withdrawal

We provide a variety of payment processors to meet your specific needs. Remember that the amount you can withdraw from your player's account may vary, depending on your balance and the frequency of your transactions.

For security reasons, we will not authorize withdrawals from accounts with new payment processors, that didn't make deposit to our network.

Withdrawal Rules

To prevent the new phenomenon of fraud with credit card through the mechanism of transfer of credit on the tables, we have to inform you that before you can withdraw funds, you must generate at least 30% of the sum required rake.You may however, withdraw the same amount you deposited, through the same method of payment, excluding debit cards / credit.

Withdrawal Process

We believe that our players should be able to make withdrawals of funds from their accounts with the same ease with which they can make deposits. To start a withdrawal follow these simple steps:

 

• Connect to the site and click the button indicated by the name of Withdrawal
• From the box, click the Withdrawal button
• If your account is associated with a particular processor or sampling method, you can make withdrawal immediately by clicking Select
• If your account is not associated options drawing immediate or wish to make a withdrawal using a different method, see the following
• Enter the amount you wish to take with any other information regarding the account will be prompted and click OK
• Confirm the amount to be taken and the information on the account and click Submit

If you have funded your player account through a payment processor, you can choose the amount withdrawn will be credited to that processor. If you prefer not to use these options, you can create an account with another payment processor of choice among the options that are listed below.

For security reasons, we will not authorize withdrawals from accounts with new payment processors, that have not made a deposit to our network.
